Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location.
  4. Contact information of the complaining party.
  5. A statement confirming that the use of the material is unauthorized.
  6. A statement that the information provided is accurate.

Under Title 17 USC §512(f), there are penalties for misrepresenting information in a notification of infringement.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If your material has been taken down due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification to have it restored. The notification must include:

  2. Description of the material taken down and its original location.
  3. A statement that the removal was a mistake.
  4. Your contact information and consent for jurisdiction.
